Pesado Wooden Tamper

The Pesado Wooden Tamper exemplifies meticulous design and engineering for flawless coffee tamping. Its diameter fits snugly in the filter basket without jamming, and its base features precise 90º edges for full coverage.

These sharp edges ensure an even tamp across the coffee grounds, reducing channelling and enhancing consistency for more even extractions and higher yields per shot. The ergonomic wooden handles are smooth and wax-finished for comfort.

Available with an optional depth adjuster, the tamper provides consistent pressure and precision, making it ideal for busy environments or multiple baristas.

Avoid soaking or leaving the wooden handles wet to prevent splitting. Handmade in Australia from premium oak, the handles may develop small cracks over time, which do not affect their integrity. We will assess eligibility for replacements; cracks smaller than 3mm wide and 2cm long are generally not covered.
